For years we were certified with CCOF (California Certified Organic Farmers.) We dropped out of out of CCOF because of the high cost.
Below are listed some of our current farm practices. Our ways are no different than when we were certified by CCOF.
Fertilization: No chemical fertilizers. We use manure and also compost, made from our manure.
Pest control: For our few pest outbreaks we use OMRI materials, just like when we were with CCOF.
Weed control: We use no chemicals. Our practices are the same my grandparents used and the same used when we were with CCOF.
