As best I know, the plants shown in this picture are called either water spinach, ong choy, or kang kong...depending where the person lives. They are a popular in Asia. Tessie, who has been encouraging me to grow
ong choy, was born in the Philippines. 
.
These plants are said to grow super fast. And look at them. They were started only
2 weeks and one day ago...15 days.

Water spinach is usually stir fried or used in a salad.
On the internet they're  described as very nutritious.
