We sell at the Murrieta Farmers Market. This market is open on Sundays , 9 AM to 1 PM; and it's located at Village Walk Plaza, Murrieta, CA.
(February 9 ), we will bring to the market:
red cabbage, lots of broccoli, winter squash, kale, radishes, flowers, and eggs.
5 black duckling and 3 goslings. They arrived Wednesday and put on quite a show. Their job will be to weed and to lay eggs.
Hopefully, the geese will handle the hawks and the ravens.
February 27, The chickens are eating the best diet we've ever fed...this includes:
1. organic pellets
2. bone residue from jan's frequent preparation of bone broth
3. vegetable residue from the field...lots and lots.
4. And... alfalfa leaves that fall as our goats eat their hay.
GreenNibbles is a certified organic vegetable farm located up against the buttes,
west of Hemet. We are a member of (CCOF), California Certified Organic Farmersp
We grow what we sell. And just one person plans for, grows, harvests, transports, and sells. That one person is me. This approach makes it possible for vegetables to reach the table, 3 to 12 hours after they are harvested. Vegetables we don't sell, go to our goats, chickens, ...and to us.
Some of our greater challenges are (1) farming with a tiny water budget, (2) skirtIng around the earwig and aphid, (3) and producing a steady vegetable supply each week as the seasons change.
